Sending reminder email automatically

Posted on by 222

Dear members,

I am trying to send a reminder email to the customers based on the due date of the payments. I am trying to send the email (reminder) 3 days before the due date, on the day of due date and on the day next to the due date automatically. Is there any possibility to achieve this..? If so.. please let me know...

Please help out to meet my requirement.

Thanks in advance

Saravanan M

You can issue the reminders manually and then let Power Automate pick up the issued reminders and send them out :)

As per your requirement you have to write your custom code or set the field as I suggested in Job queue entry.

    Dear Nitin Verma,

Thanks a bunch for your response. I would like to know does there exist any standard functionality in Business Central to meet out my requirement.?

Is there any setups that I need to enable so that I can use the inbuilt standard functionality to send my reminder email..??

    Thanks in advance,

    Saravanan M

You need to check the customer ledger entry of the remaining amount of that customer, and filter the Due date just 3 days before that due date and accordingly next day, for this calculate write your custom code and put this formula where you are sending the email. might be a good field name is "Next run date formula" on Job queue entry.
