Hi, I have built an email within Dynamics 365 real-time marketing which we need to send from an alternative internal mailing system rather than through D365.
However when we do a test send from the other system the email formatting is completely messed up with some of the images and blocks in all sorts of different sizes. When tested and sent through D365 the email is completely fine.
Does anyone have any advice for using D365 HTML within other programmes and how to transfer it across without breaking the email design? I'm not an expert in HTML so I'm struggling to find a way to fix it. The email was built using the drag and drop editor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Using Dynamics 365 HTML code in other mailing systems
Hi, We analyzed the issue you raised and created an RTM Email to try to reproduce the issue, unfortunately we were not successful. According to our searches, in general if the problem is only with the formatting, it may be a problem with the HTML and CSS related code. It is possible that the email references Web Resources in Dynamics 365, and when you copy the HTML from that email into a third party email, you are unable to access those Web Resources. In addition, if you are using an Email client that does not support html you may also have your problem. If you need to modify the HTML code of the RTM email to make this email satisfy the third party email system, I recommend you to seek Microsoft technical support using the following link. https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. Best Regards, Rudy Zhang
