Account Schedule report layout customisation

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

The report generated from an Account Schedule has some layout issues.

  • It always defaults to Landscape orientation even when the report data easily fits on Portrait.
  • It uses a tiny font size - looks like 7 point.
  • There is far too much vertical spacing between rows.
  • It takes up too many pages when printed.
  • Headings aren't formatted nicely

Is it possible to customise this report?

The workaround is to output to Excel and format manually. But that is far too much work. Our current in-house finance system has far nicer reports than NAV.

ps. I am not asking how to setup an Account Schedule. I am asking how to customise the print layout of Account Schedules.

Many thanks for your assistance. I have taken a look at the Report layout and can now see that I will be able to make all the layout changes that we require.
