Management reporter error

Hello,

I have an issue with management reporter not syncing properly with dynamics AX.

I have rebuild the datamart and done all checks but still the same. 

The only thing I noticed is that drive that stored the ManagementReporterDM database file is different from the drive that stored the ManagementReporter database file.

Kindly help on the resolution.

    Hi Kemi,

    I have resolved it by following below steps.

    Take backup of MR DBs

    Take backup of customized data/reports

    Reconfigure the MR again from scrap.

    I faced similar error before, and was solved by updating trial balance.

    (financial dimension sets -> rebuild / update balance)

    Yes I did and still no way out .

    I don't have any error message but most of the accounts are not accurate.

    Hi Kemi,

    Did you follow some tips provided in my blog? Can you find some errors in the logging? What exactly do you experience with "not syncing properly"?

    I was able to resolve the user issue but still have problem with MR integrating. 

    Any help?

    Hi,

    It may be able to be solved by checking what Andre suggested.

    You can check the configuration console for MR or services.msc window.

    Hi Kemi,

    This is a credentials error. Can you check if the correct credentials are used and if the password hasn't been expired?

    Hello Kemi,

    Are you an admin user in AX and do you have the security admin role assigned?

    Are you also an admin on the server where the Data Mart has been installed?

    Thank you for your response.

    I have rebuild my datamart but this is the error i am still getting from the configuration console after the integration has started;

    Cannot open database "ManagementReporterDM" requested by the login. The login failed.
    Login failed for user 'xxxxxx'. Cannot open database "ManagementReporterDM" requested by the login. The login failed.
    Login failed for user 'xxxxxxxx'.
    Component: Microsoft.Dynamics.Integration.Common.TraceLog
    User: xxxxxxx
    Machine: xxxxxxx

    How do i resolve this?
