Batch Name Disappearance (NAV 2013 R2)

Hi all! We are currently implementing NAV 2013 R2, and we've been having a common issue in many journals for some time, which is the Batch Name Dropbox disappearance whenever we change something in the columns layout (adding or removing columns). Our NAV Partner has asked us to delete user personalization in affected journals as a remedy. This solution worked, but does that mean we have to choose between adding or removing columns and allowing users to select a different batch?

I don't believe this solution is practical, but if we have no choice, we'll somehow do it. However, I've read posts about this situation being a bug that can be fixed. Is that true? Should we ask our NAV Partner about this correction? What is the efficiency of this correction?

Thanks a lot!

RE: Batch Name Disappearance (NAV 2013 R2)

    Hi,

Your NAV Partner should have known that it is a known issue in 2013R2.  Daniele is correct especially this seems to be a relatively fresh implementation for you - go and have your partner update you to CU9.

It's a known bug in 2013 R2 CU3: in the following cumulative updates no fix about it is explicitly mentioned, but I suggest to give a try with the latest build available (CU9) to check if the issue is still present.
