Inventory closing without adjustment & settlement

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there is anyway that I can do the inventory closing without making any adjustment in the period? I'm using the Weighted average costing method. For example, I started making transactions for items from January to February. Now I just want to make cost price recalculation for transactions in February only, and keep the transactions in January posted with their running average cost price.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I can't think of a way to make the Weighted average model work like that...... that's not what it does!

    Hello Tung Duong,

Can you provide some more information on what has been processed in your system and what you try to achieve with the cost price recalculation? What confuses me a bit is what you write about the transactions that shall not be adjusted?! Maybe you can provide a concrete example for one of your items to help us better understand your request.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig
