Batch processing invoices of service orders

Hi,

I am new to AX2012 R3 and have a few questions in relation to optimizing the processes of invoicing service orders.

Is it possible to invoice multiple service orders? Sales orders are fairly easy to make a batch process to invoice for the whole day. But I can't find similar feature in the service management section with service orders.

Or is there any other way of optimising the invoicing of service orders other than having to open these individually in order to invoice them.

Hope this makes sense.

    Hi,

Please check for the first one:

Project module / periodic section / project invoices / create project invoice proposals

    For the second one:

Project module / periodic section / project invoices / post project invoice proposals

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Thank you Ludwig.

Makes sense -  but I still can't find the path to making the second batch to post multiple invoices of this kind?

    Hi NukaF,

Service orders are invoiced via projects.

As a result, you have to create a batch that creates your invoice proposals first.

Once that is done, you need a second batch that posts the invoices (assuming that you don't need any workflow/approval/review).

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
