Hi,

I am very new to AX 2012. In my current work place, we don't create products directly in AX, we create in Excel (which is an extract of AX) and then export it to AX, I created a product but has barcode staging error. once I go to Product Information Management >Product Import staging details>Delete the error and then Create.

Now from Integration perspective, where should I look and what would be the batch job names?

Hi,

What does the error message say exactly?

How did you 'export' the items to AX? What process/tool did you use and how was this configured?

When did the error pop up exactly?

Would be great if you could specify.

Hi Prameela,

May be this product import job is custom for your company, may be this is developed by your current partner from which you are engaged with. You can ask the system administrator or get in touch with the partner for this.

Anyhow, there is DIXF in Ax 2012 which is data import export framework, the entity which is used in for items is product. You can check if this entity is creating a new job under Product entity.
