    Hi Rudra,

You probably have version control enabled.
To disable it, open a development workspace (ctrl + d), and go to Version Control - Parameters.
On the general tab, set "Version control status" to Disabled.

Reopen the security roles form and the buttons should be enabled now.
Mind though that now version control is disabled :)

    Hi Klaas,

Thanks alot for your timely help,as you said i disabled i can able to add, remove actions as well, it saves my troubleshooting time.

But if you have any idea please share me why the architecture was like this when version control enabled could not able to add remove into the roles.

    Hi Rudra,

It's probably because when you are creating and modifying records in the form, you are actually creating and modifying nodes in the AOT. Just check under the "security" node in the AOT, you will see the nodes that you modify there.

Security is no longer some you do in "setup", but something you develop. Roles, duties, privileges, those are all the responsibility of the developer. You should define these roles and duties in the analysis phase and have them developed by a developer. Then managing security at the customer site is simply a matter of assigning users to roles. A developer using version control would not use that "Security roles" form but would create those nodes manually in the AOT and add them to a project and version control.

Yes, the explanation was acceptable as per the developers role which means during analysis period itself we shud finish it off, wen in supporting phase we shud do this stuff from the AOT node itself directly not from the Security role form.
