    Hi RyanPitt,

I'm not quite understanding your demand. There is Mark Complete button and Close Task button which you can click them to close your task.

It is when I am creating a quick task in the contact. I do not get that option.

    Hi RyanPitt,

It seems that you create a task in contact timeline, right?

If so, you could click Close Activity button to close it:

Or you could click Open Record button. Then you can get the Mark Complete button and Close Task activity.

Yes, the complaint is that they can't complete and close at the same time. They have to reopen it, just to complete it.

Should they not be creating tasks in the contact timeline?

    Hi RyanPitt,

Should they not be creating tasks in the contact timeline?

It's up to you. When you create a task in timeline of contact, it would automatically be regarding to the current contact. This is the difference between Task created in timeline and in Activity.

Yes, the complaint is that they can't complete and close at the same time. They have to reopen it, just to complete it.

When you click Mark complete button, the status of task would be changed to completed and it would be closed. It's same as you click the Close Task button and select Completed State. So you can complete and close tasks at the same time in these two ways.
