I did a lot of steps and was unable to fix it. So finally I copied the Retail server and Modern POS folder from VM and added the connection string in the Retail server Web.config file. It worked then. But now it is only working for my Houston Store DB.

I tried to create another channel DB for FRRT for Paris Store and tried to activate the mPOS after deactivating from Houston, but I was not able to configure. I am still not able to find out the reason.

What did you change in the connection string ? Did you use win 8.1 or win server 2012 R2 ? I see that my connection string already had the correct server and database.

I find very limited info on the internet, thanks to your reply that let me know I'm not the only one facing this issue :)

HI Sumit,  have you restarted IIS for the retail server.  that normally helps with refreshing the latest communication.  Also, from what i see you are doing all of this in an internal VM.  if you are doing it from an external you need to check your certificates and your routing.

    Hi Sumit, all,

I am encountering the same error message on Visual Studio while debugging the POS (Windows 8.1) solution. This error message was captured from Fiddler:

    VS_2D00_POS_2D00_KeyNotFoundException.png

On the same machine I have installed the Retail POS (i.e. ePOS) and the Retail Modern POS clients and both of the applications were activated and logged in successfully. However when using Visual Studio to debug the solution which is hosted on the same machine, it is throwing the above error.

How have you fixed the issue? And if yes, can you please send me the solution?

    Thanks,
