We have a requirement that certain sub-assemblies be completed several days before their consumption into the next item up the BOM chain. We have tried adding lead times in the coverage plan and the item but the route overrides these values not changing the delivery date. Is there a way to add a buffer number of days to the delivery date and still use routes?

We did it by adding additional hours in the Queue time before and Queue time after fields on the route. We also added additional days in the Issue margin on the Coverage groups.
