Weird problems after migration

Hey Guys,

I've got a couple of issues that I would like to share with you. I'm running a fully updated CRM 4.0 installation here on a Windows 2008 r2 environment with two terminal servers.

The company that i'm hosting this for moved from another IT company to ours. The old IT company gave us a SQL backup and said good luck..

I've set up the entire CRM 4.0 environment (which is completely new for me) including the outlook 2010 client. So far so good.

I do have two problems.

1. When I open the list of contacts or organisations, I can see the data. But when i want to edit a contact, I get an Windows authentication popup.

2. In the client options, I've set the option "use this computer as a synchronisation client" and clicked the sync button after that. No errors are given, but my Outlook address book remains empty..

These are the two major issues that I'm having right now. Is there anybody who can kick me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!!

Ok. I thought i'd upgraded my installation to the latest version. But when i look at the configuration manager on my CRM 4.0 server, it says that both my application server and my sql server are at version 4.0.7333.2149..

I ran the Rollup 19 package yesterday, but didn't reboot the application server (the setup didn't say anything about a reboot). Did I do something wrong?

    Hi Joris,

Please check the in CRM server ADD/remove program if the CRM update roll up has been installed successfully or not. If yes then you may reboot the server anytime. Also please make sure u have UR19 on client machine.

    Thanks,

    Mohammad

Also, are you sure you have IE security zone settings set correctly?
