Hi.
I've used the Excel import wizard to create a definition group and a import template for importing new customers to AX. However, the import only works the first time I use the definition group for import.
I have tried removing the customer from AX, renamed the file used for import, and changed the data in the import file.
Do I have to select something under the advanced > import rule in the Excel Import dialog?

You have to reset the definition's detail. Goto the specific import defintion and then to tables. You can see there a status field (value "imported") which has to set back before you can re-import again.
