Data Exchange Definition - Transformation Rule Not Working

Hi all,
We have a bank statement CSV file in this format:

We're trying to use Transformation Rules in the Data Exchange Definition to convert the /--/ string to nothing (blanks).

None of the existing Transformation Rules are removing the /--/ characters.

We've tried:

Remove Non-Alphanumeric characters
Replace
Regular Expression - Replace

You still get this error message, when you attempt to import the CSV file:
The CSV Bank file import is not applying the Transformation Rule and removing the /--/ string:

Hi, this may require some simple customization if the standard can't do it.
