Is there a way to create a candidate checklist in the onboarding portion of 365 HR?

Sounds like you are trying to create a checklist that can be found here:
From the main page > 'Personnel management' workspace > 'Links' tab > Onboarding section > Checklists
Thanks, but I need to create a checklist in the Onboard application.
There should be a way to replicate a similar functionality, but with a different name.
In theory, you would create a Template in the Onboarding module.
In that template, you would modify the Activities (which can replicate a Checklist) so that it meets your criteria.
Off that template you would create a Guide for a given person / role.
Then you would send that Guide to the person that is being onboarded.
Again, this is not identical functionality. But it still acts like a task list just like the Checklists functionality does.
