Parallel Work on a Data Set

Hello all,

Is there a way to inform a user if there are changes to a data set that have been re-saved by another user? This would support parallel work on a data set.

Currently, if two users edit the same field, changes could be overwritten.

I'm afraid this is not available OOB but it could be developed using JS.
