Hi,

I have been asked if LCS has any cost. Do you know if any cost for Azure has to be paid by a partner?

No, there is nothing to pay for LCS.

Azure is a different case, if you use it. Especially cloud-hosted environments aren't cheap.

Yes, LCS is used for Microsoft Dynamics.

I'm saying that LCS and Azure are two different things. You don't pay for LCS, but you may need to pay for Dynamics licenses and resources you use in Azure (e.g. virtual machines or Azure DevOps).

In the end, if the partner would like to start a preview subscription for LCS has to set up an Azure tenant Azure.

In other words, they have to pay Azure cost. Am I correct?

What do you mean by "an Azure tenant"? Azure consists of hundreds services.

If you mean Azure Active Directory, you usually don't need to pay for it. Consult Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) pricing for more details.

As LCS is available in preview and the partner has to sign up to the preview subscription. Shall they pay something to sign up and test the LCS preview environment?

LCS itself isn't in preview, it's generally available for many years. I guess you're talking about a preview environment of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. Am I right or do you mean a different product?
