Table update has been interrupted when posting AR batch

Posted on by 75,730

Client went to post a monthly recurring AR batch.  The batch failed to post with SY00500.BCHSTTUS=9. If I set that back to 0 and print the edit list each transaction tells me it has already been posted. If I delete the RM00401 TABLE and run check links they get the same message. I have restored from backup which has this batch in a healthy state but I am concerned if they go to post it will fail again. The very odd thing is that at the end, their 3 posting journals print but the error message appears at the very end and the batch date does not advance to the next month.

The DEXSQL.LOG revealed at the very end line after line of the message "Error executing stored procedure #ZDP56465465. It either does not exist or you do not have permission"

Given that was doing this as 'sa. it was not a permission issue. I rolled back to a backup that has been taken about an hour before this happened and ran check links on the AR series. I then had them post and all went through.

    Hi Richard,

Do you have a test environment you can try this in?  Maybe run a SQL/DEX log trace at the same time, and see if it will provide any additional clues.
