Integrate DeepL dll into AX2012

I wanna integrate the DeepL.net dll into Dynamics AX2012 (AOS, not client)

I put the dll into the AOS bin folder, registered the dll in the GAC, and added the reference in AX.

I cannot use the namespace in x++ because it is not shown/recognized.

The target framework of DeepL dll is .NetCoreApp v5.0

Any ideas?

thx for the reply. I got the dll from deepl itself because I have no experience in writing code for Rest API calling in DAX

Integrate DeepL dll into AX2012

.NET Core assemblies can't be loaded in .NET Framework applications, such as AX 2012.

Either you can get a version for .NET Framework, or you need some other solution. I don't know where you got the DLL, but it doesn't seem to be needed. DeepL offers a REST API and consuming such web services doesn't require .NET Core.

If you insist on using this particular DLL, you'll need to build a .NET Core application, load the assembly there and implement communication between this app and AX 2012. But I assume you should communicate directly with DeepL.
