I have a curiosity about the below two marked in yellow field.
What is the purpose of "Translations" in the financial dimension values?
What is the purpose of "External Codes" in the financial dimension values?
where the changes can be seen?

Hi Ramit,
The translation feature should translate your findims into other languages. If you setup a translated name, switch the language and then run reports you should see the translated name. That's the same feature that you have available for your main accounts. Have not seen this applied for findims though because people usually stick to a name even if this is in a foreign language. That's at least the experience that I have from my home country.
The external code is inherited from prior Dynamics versions. Have not seen this feature used often as well. One example where I have seen it being applied was in intercompany scenarios where different tax related settings and transport methods were mapped using them.

For the translation, which reports retrieves the translation?
Hello Ramit,
You can e.g. see the translated names in the trial balance list page.
The translation is also shown in the dimension statement report that is available in GL
Note 1: This works only if you have setup the default language of your user to the foreign language. It won't work if you switch the language in the browsers' URL
Note 2: Another thing that you need to note is that the out of the box findims, such as cost centers, customers, products, etc. cannot be translated in the findim form. You can make those translations only for custom findims.
Did you have a chance to take a look at those forms/reports in regards to the translation functionality?
