Mainstream support of AX 2012 R3 ends in 2021. Refer to Microsoft Support Lifecycle for details.
I would still suggest using the official Microsoft Lifecycle Policy that I linked above. Partners must get the information from Microsoft (and might have outdated information for some reason), therefore going to the original authoritative source looks safer to me.
If I look at the blog post, it mentions D365FO documentation as its source, which links back to Microsoft Lifecycle Policy.
