Increase the height of a Text Field

Hi - I have text field where user can add long text like few lines of texts. I want to increase the height of the text field so that user can read the lines he's tapping. At the moment it's just a single text field. Any clue please? Thanks

Hi Ilyasmo,

You can change this in the Field Settings.

It is even possible the adapt the field height to the text entered.

What are your field settings?

This works with 'Single Line of Text' with the format 'Text Area' or with 'Multiple Lines of text'

No the format is Text not text area. Is there anyway to update this option for the existing field. It looks like it doesn't let me change it. Any work around? Thanks

I'm afraid that once you have created this field, these settings cannot be changed.

Depending on the urgency of this change, you could create a new field and migrate the data to this field by exporting and importing.

Hello, as mentioned in another response, once you created the field, you can't modify the number of characters available for that text field.

Another way would be write an SDK application to migrate the data from one field to another one and then delete the field that you want to field.
