Hi All,

I have a logic to create a new vendor pending invoice through reading the file in batch and its working fine as we expected. The file will contains all the information related to creating the pending vendor invoices. Now I have a requirement to update the pending invoice if already created. I am planning to debug the standard update process of pending invoice. It would be better if anybody is having a idea about it.
I am having a couple of question in mind, like if we are updating a header(VendInvoiceInfoTable) or line table(VendInvoiceInfoLine) do we need to update the corresponding sub tables(VendInvoiceInfoSubTable,VendInvoiceInfoSubLine)

FYI,
For creation of vendor pending invoice I am using (AXVendInvoiceInfoTable and AXVendInvoiceInfoLine classes)
workflow process is enabled for vendor invoices, once the invoice is created it will auto submit the invoices.

I am working on AX 2012 R3.

Hi Jackie,

you should try to update the underlying tables if you are going to update VendInvoiceInfoTable tables.. assuming you are using classes etc. to populate the data.

The charges on header are linked via VendInvoiceInfoSubTable table and stored in MarkupTrans Table so overall relationship is AXVendInvoiceInfoTable > AXVendInvoiceInfoSubTable > MarkupTrans.
