Vendor Posting profiles import via Data Management / Excel Add-in

Hello,

I was searching for the vendor posting profile entity but couldn't find one by the name that will allow me to enter Posting Profile header, and then group level summary accounts.

Is there any entity available out of the box or this has to be done manullay?

Appreciate any tips.

Best Regards,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi MYGz,

My experience is that it is often faster to set up those profiles manually rather than trying to import them.

With 6 lines (at least that's what is shown in your screenprint) and 5 profiles, you need to set up 30 lines, which should not take you longer then 5 min ;-)

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Haha :D

But the Excel Add-in and Data Entities have made me lazy, I just want to export from Test Env and Import in the Golden Config. So I believe there isn't any, otherwise you would have told me :))

    Hi MYGz,

For vendor posting profiles you need to use two entities:

1- "Vendor posting profile" : It have information for the profile ID and Table restrictions alternatives

2- "Vendor ledger accounts" : It includes setup parts where you can define posting setup (e.g. Summary account)

    Thanks @Alireza, Perfect.

Ludwig Reinhard Do concur with you that whatever is faster should be chosen and not just data management for the sake of it. In my case, Data management would be definitely faster :)
