Dear Experts,

We are trying to improve the Employee and Manager Self experience in our D365 HR System.

  1. Is it at all possible to rearrange the below tiles on our home page? If yes, how do I achieve this as I have tried to go in personalization and get 'An unexpected client error has occurred' error
  2. I have added links to internal sites on to the home page  and even the Google page but link is broken .i.e errors with: www.google.co.uk refused to connect. Any ideas?

    Hi Ramson,

You can rearrange the tiles on the homepage.

    For example

Use personalize this page option > Select Move control

Click on the tile you want to move and drag and drop

Once this is done then you can see the tile like below.

Thanks Parag - Yes, tried moving tiles that way but got an error, maybe it is environment specific and will raise with my local IT.

Have you got any idea on the links? .i.e. if I add a tile that should link to a page it errors. Perhaps something I need to get investigated internally too if as per design link open when tile is clicked?

    Thanks

    Ramson

    Hi Ramson,

Did you manage to get this solved with help from your IT?

Not yet George. They cannot figure out why a simple link on homepage cannot open web page and instead think it's something with D365.

    Will update shortly!

    Hi Ramson,

If they are adamant that this might be caused by D365, you can always open a new Support Request with Microsoft Support and we will gladly assist with finding an answer to your inquiry.
