Hi all,

I want to distribute amount of product on Purchase Requisition on different dimensions but i can't, Please help me to solve the issue.

Hi,

Can you try entering a financial Dimension template in the purchase Requisition lines? This template should ensure that the amounts get correctly distributed to the financial dimensions that you Need to be charged.

Hi Syed, those templates are setup in GL and basically act as a kind of allocation key that distributes the amount based e.g. On a specific percentage figure. Does this help or do you need an example that shows how to set them up? Ludwig

Hi,

Here is an example:

Step 1: Setup your template e.g. by specifiying how the costs will be distributed to different financial dimensions

Step 2: Enter the Purch Req Details and link the template to it.

Step 3: generate the Purchase Order out of the purchase Requisition and post the purchase order invoice. Result: AX allocates the amounts based on the allocation specified in the template.

Infact it is account setup where you define accouts, Tax Amount, ect

Financial Dimension "Template id" Field is disable although item type is service don't know why
