Upgrade Dynamics CRM 2016 8.2 On Premise to Dynamics 365 9 On premise

How do you obtain Dynamics CRM 365 version 9 license key to upgrade from Dynamics CRM 2016 8.2 on premise to Dynamics 365 9 on premise?

    Hey.

    There's a 90 day trial available on Download Dynamics 365 Server, version 9.0 from Official Microsoft Download Center.  Once downloaded, there's a folder with the key.

    Also, retrieving a full key depends on how you have licensed the product.  Normally:

    - If you purchased through a partner, partner should be able to provide the license from the Partner center.

    - if you purchased through an enterprise agreement/Volume license, you should be able to go to Volume License service center and retrieve the keys

    Hello Daniel Perez,

    Thank you for your feedback and the options provided to obtain the V 9 keys. However, we only have access to Dynamics 2016 license key, version 9 keys are not available for us. The CRM 2016 license was purchased through a partner.

    Hey!

    If you have purchased v9, then you should have the license available.  If you haven't purchased v9, then you can use the Trial version available that comes with a 90 day period for testing.  IF during those 90 days you decide to purchase, you can then update the license and keep the current installation.
