Embed Canvas app doesn't work correctly

Hi,

I am a newbie in CRM and Dataverse. Recently I have an issue whereby I tried to create an embed Canvas app from a main form of a Dataverse table. I am choosing the standard table Contacts. But weird is, after wizard finished create that embed canvas app, some field is not displayed correctly, especially with those field with datatype lookup.

Like this example:

As you all can see, First name, Last name, and full name are displayed correctly, it has the same value between the normal ways of showing field in a form and inside embed canvas app. But Company & Account number which are a lookup column, can't be shown in canvas app, it is giving me the blank search box with label "Find items" instead.

Btw, the canvas app is the one that font looks bigger, right after 4 fields at the top. Is this the correct behavior of embed canvas app ? or there is something I should do first.

Please advice.

    Hello, you can try this:

    + Use a combo box instead of dropdown control.

    + Use a Power Automate flow which was called from a button instead of submitting the form.

    And the font and size are by default, you need to change that directly from Canvas App.

    Hi Esteban,

    I'm sorry, but it is a combo box that I highlighted to be blank instead showing the right information.

    And about the size, actually I just want to pointed out which one is the canvas app and which one is the normal form of Model-driven app, so we all can see that in canvas app the value is wrong (empty) while the same field but in that Model-driven app is the correct one.

    Hope it is more clear.
