There was an event handler written on the update of the CustTable that modifies a field. I'm not sure what the business logic is and I do not have access tot he solution. I need to disable this event handler. Is there a way that I can see the code-behind the event handler on the field and also disable this?
Hi Jccrawford,
It seems you need to contact your ISV.
If you need a change that can't be done with extensions, you'll have to ask the ISV to make their code extensible.
Have a look at this old thread:

Hope this helps.
You can't disable Microsoft or ISV code. You can only extend it by adding your additional logic.
So, you need to talk to your ISV about your requirements.
You can see the code behind the event handler if your ISV has delivered their source code (models) to you. If they only deliver deployable package, you can't see the code. And it's up to the agreement between you and the ISV whether you are entitled to receive also the source code or not.
Without source code it's difficult to write your own extensions, or debug issues in the ISV solution. But it seems that many ISVs and customers have agreed that no source code needs to be delivered to the customers.
