I'm curious to know if anyone's had success with running a completely hosted AX solution, i.e. Software as a Service (SaaS).  What challenges has that posed for your business?  If you have gone with a hosted solution, what partner did you utilize for the technology?  Thanks.

    Software as a service is a good business.  It is a long term return business for  uniquie business like utility services management. If you are going ahead with the business you can  directly partner with microsoft and start the business.

    Thanks for the response.  I think I should clarify my question.  I wasn't inquiring about hosting a solution for others, I meant to ask if someone has run their business on a solution hosted by another partner company.  Hopefully that clarifies the intention.

    Yes, we successfully run both 2009 and 2012 AX in a completely hosted scenario - it works great.  The things to watch for our properly sizing the environment (it's similar to the hardware specs from Microsoft, but does vary with a hosted / cloud scenario). Also watch out for ISV integration or data syncing - it can be done but your consulting partner or your tech team just needs to plan it out carefully.  We at Reviora work with a variety of partners so if you are looking for an introduction, let me know otherwise I just wanted to answer your question here.
