We need to create a workflow (or other solution, I'm open to all ideas) to notify the sales team when a lead reaches the sales-ready threshold. The problem is that the sales team is not using MS Dynamics, so we need to inform them of hot leads by email, and then the lead handling cycle starts in another system.
What would be the best way to notify the sales team of hot leads by email? Is it creating a workflow? If so, how should I create that kind of workflow?

Workflow is a wise choice.
You can save the sales team as a contact in Dynamics.
It would be something like the following.
Of course, you could consider to achieve that with Flow as the email notification in Flow can be sent to a fixed email address so that you do not have to create the sales teams as a contact.
