Please you open the Contact entity on Ribbon Workbench and remove or hide any duplicate buttons under subgrid area, please see below
Have you done any Ribbon customization for contact entity? Are those buttons behaves same? Hide the button by going to ribbon workbench as Kokulan suggested above.
