Hello,

I am trying to disable Ctrl+D short cut for the system administrator role. I could not find which class is checking it. I want to enable this shortcut just for some users who have sys administrator role.

I could not find any solution after I made lots of search. If you provide me any solution I will be so grateful.

Thanks a lot from now.

You cannot expect this to do this on standard AX SysAdmin role.

You have to create  a duplicate role, providing all permissions, and finally assign that customized role, to those users, who must be restricted to AOT access.

Sohaib is right, the -SysAdmin- role is hardcoded into the AX kernel to act that way (it is also the only role that a user must have to have AOT access).

You could also use this axfaq.blogspot.ro/.../create-role-as-sysadmin-without-dev.html to faster create your role (need a little bit of DEV know how).

I did this but there is a problem User can not display the reports because it has no access to tables which were created by developers. I also have to give access for all tables to that role. But I am looking for a short way.

For customized reports, you have to assign permission , for those reports.

drag associated menu items in a new privilege and assign that to user role.

There is no shortcut as "Single click"

Question is how your current users are using customized reports? Haven't you created any permissions for customized reports since start?

No I haven't created any permission for customized reports.

    Hi Ertugrul.

This is last issue is related not taking security into account while developing new reports or other customizations. The tables which are used on the reports should be added on the permissions node of the SSRS report in the AX AOT. That will solve that piece.

You have to learn some more related to security to understand the complete picture.

Thanks. Your code is really helpful for me. I have changed it to adding all menu items to privilege which were created in cus layer and then i added all privileges to my role. Now i need to write a code which is checking all menu items which are not in my Role and create a privilege for that menu item and add it to my role.

    Hi Ertugrul,

You may also use the Security Development Tool to find the menu items which has no access within a certain role. Then you might create a new privilege or multiple privileges for these menu items.

Do you still need help with this? I am not sure if you've managed to solve your issue with the reports permissions or not.
