Customer/Vendor transactions automatically settled - set up enquiry

Hi all,
 
I have set the customer/vendor automatic settlement to No on both customer/vendor posting profiles.
 
 
I have also disabled the below field in the AR/AP parameters -
 
 
However, when a customer/vendor payment is processed(posted), on the Customer/Vendor profile, The Invoice and the Payments transactions are being settled automatically.
 
Can someone advise what am I missing?

    Hi,
    If you disable the parameters in both of these and still get automatic settlement, you can check out the old thread, hope it gives you hints. Solved: Vendor transactions auto-settlement (dynamics.com)

    Hi,
     
    Do you use payment proposal? If so it is auto settled.
    Also this rule will apply only for transactions posted after the parameters are enabled.
    For example, older transactions do have the check box of to settle.
