Management Reporter Generation Error This report view contains no data.

Dear Experts

I am using  Management Reporter 2012 CU13, there is no licensing applicable to this.

When i create a report and run generate report i get a output error as below

MANAGEMENT REPORTER
This report view contains no data.
 Previous Next 
  • Make sure that the report was generated with the following settings:
    • A valid report date
    • Valid dimensions and accounts
    • A valid reporting tree unit


What could be the reason for this issue. None of my report are running .

I have checked if there is Data available in the given period which is available.(YES)

I have checked if Integration services is running (YES)

No errors in data mart integration.

I have checked many blogs and links but could not resolve this issue

    Can you see some values in your data mart tables?

    Can you share some details of how this report is setup and for which period it was run?

    secondly for your next question I am attaching the Screen

    In the company name USSI i m running a list of accounts to show its value to run the report i am using  the Base period 12 base year 2012 default base period is cur

    Hi Sukumar,

    You would have to connect to your SQL database to see the Datamart tables.

    Unfortunately, I cannot see your attached screenshots. Can you try to save them on your Computer and then select 'use rich formatting' right below the TextBox. This opens a new form, which allows you uploading your screenshots.

    Hi,

    There was something wrong with the upload. Have you tried to copy+past the sceenshots? This does usually not work and you have to save them first before you can upload the screens.

    Hi sukumar,

    Can you do the following:

    1. Create a bank posting in Dynamics AX in company USSI on ledger account 110110 as of today

    2. Wait some time until MR gets the data (some minutes)

    3. Change your column definition from Periods covered (periodic to ytd)

    4. Run the Report again with the selection

    - base period 12

    - base year 2018

    5. Your posted Transaction should be there.

    I assume that the selection that you made (year 2013) is responsible for the outcome that you see.

    The USSI demo company does not have that 'rich' demo data and if you run the report for a different year (e.g. 2016) and a different company (e.g. USMF) you should see a report outcome.

    Thanks for your very prompt reply . I have followed all the steps suggested by you . But still i get the  Error This report view contains no data. sorry screen shot not insequence

    Hi,

    Can you test selecting - tools - refresh cached data and try to re-run the report?

    Just to test whether or not there is something wrong with your Management Reporter, can you run one of the default reports for the USMF demo company? There should be a report generated.
