PO Ordered, Received, and Remaining Quantity all equal?

Users entered a PO for a quantity of 36. The quantity of 36 was received. On the PO line there is still a remaining quantity of 36 when it should be 0. Any ideas? I reviewed everything and it appears all entries were fine other than the quantity not being reduced on the remaining. I am not very familiar with this process, sorry for lack of information.

    Hi LBP,

I have taken screen shot from D365FO as I don't have any AX2012 environment available with me!

Can you test by enabling these check boxes "Deduction requirements" and "Receiving requirements" for stocked item and see if the remaining quantity is getting updated or not?

You will find this in Inventory management > Setup > Inventory > Item model groups.
