Apply XDS to related tables

Hi.

I have 3 related tables: InventJournalTable, InventJournalTrans, INVENTDIM; I wish to restrict the data for the InventJournalTable.INVENTSITEID and INVENTDIM.INVENTSITEID field by a value. How could I apply it in the XDS, any ideas that could help me? It is necessary to add the relations in the QUERY?

This restriction is to avoid Insert, delete or update.

We need define the range in the XDS query to filter the records,

Hi Jimmy,

If only to avoid Insert, delete or update by some fields, you could extend the validateWrite/Delete method to add your logic simply

Hi,

For doing this you can override the method ValidateField or ValidateFieldValue to restrict update and insert and method ValidateDelete to restrict delete

I can add two comma separated values in context string to refer to two policies per connecttstring ?

Hi Jimmy,

A comma separated list is not supported. The context string should exactly match as one value.
