We are setting up Homecare Homebase as our new EMR. We want to build an export file from Homecare Homebase to Great Plains, for revenue, contractuals, AR, etc.

Homecare Homebase is asking for the Great Plains specification file in order to build the export in the correct format and layout. Do you know how I may find the GP specs for a .csv import file? Thank you

I have the same question (0)

What I understand is that you need to extract data from your EMR system and create entries in Dynamics GP. For this check eConnect. For further details check this link

We have extensive experience working with Sr Living and Dynamics GP.  Most EMR and EHR systems provide all the AR billing and cash receipt functions within their own syhstems.  Normally you would bring over an entry once per month to update GP checkbook (for Deposits) and the GL for AR and Revenue.    You can use integration manager (which is problaby the quickest),  Smartconnect or create a direct integration using eConnect as Almas Mahfooz has indicated.   Your monthly file layout will contain at least the following  fields Company, GL account, Debit, Credit, Date.   (note Debit and credit can be in one column where Debits are positive and Credits are negative).     Additional fields are possible but not required.  Feel free to send me a direct email if you would like more direction.

Thanks for all your help, my IT team has send this info up to HCHB, and hopefully that answers their questions
