Question about AggregateMeasure

Hello everyone,

During creation of Aggregate Measure, I sometimes refer to the standard Aggregate Measure in F&O. I often notice in their Aggregate Dimensions there is a KEY_ field created on them. How and when actually this field created ?

It's like when I created Aggregate Dimension, in one of the Attributes, that particular fields property I have specified the "Usage" as Key.

And in the Aggregate Measurement, in my MeasureGroup which is the FactTable, during setting Dimensions node, I'm using that "Key" field as the linkage.

but after Build and Synchronize, there is no Key field created inside my AggregateDimension.

Anyone can advice me on this ?

    HI ShaqAX,

    There are 3 options under usage property description of each as follows:

    Key: If you specify usage property as “key” system will define the key of the dimension using this attribute

    Parent:If you specify usage property as “parent” system will parent child hierarchy with this field as parent level.

    Regular:If you specify usage property as “Regular” ,this is an attribute without any special behavior and it is default value.

    After setting usage property attach dimension to your aggregate measurement by dropping required aggregate measurement on dimension section of it.

    Hi Blue,

    Yes, I believed that's what I did. In my AggrMeasure, Dimension node, I'm using the same AggrDim and used the field as the linkage.

    But there is no Key filed generated after I build.
