Is it not recommended to send Transaction emails via customer journey?
e.g. Send an event confirmation email. (when a person registers for event, we send confirmation email)
When i mark the legal status of an email is transactional and trying to send it via customer journey, it is showing warning.
Will the emails with transactional leagal status goes to primary mail folder by default? (e.g. Gmail - Primary, Hotmail - Focused) as sometimes commercial emails might directly fo to Others folder in Hotmail / Marketing Tab in Gmail.
Any insights here please?
Hi ba365guy,
In order to send transactional emails through a customer journey, please make sure your journey has transactional level of consent or higher.
Regarding your question on primary mail folder -> it depends on the logic that email providers have, but it doesn't depend on email's legal status itself. E.g. Gmail's algorithm is smart and complex - it looks at many factors including email content, HTML code, sender IP address, etc. and based on that assigns to a proper folder.
Best Regards,
Aga
Hi ba365guy,
Have you checked minimum consent level of customer journey?
