Hi,

I have configured DocuSign in Dynamics 365 CRM Online using global admin login.


When I click on get signatures, I  get the below error instead of loading DocuSign.
"This user lacks sufficient permissions to access this resource. (USER_LACKS_PERMISSIONS)".

I have created DocuSign User and also given DocuSign User Role, yet there is this issue.

Let me know if there is an issue in DocuSign as i created new DocuSign Trial and that did not give any error.

Is the User permission profile in DocuSign cause of the issue?

    Hi,

    The error seems to be thrown by DocuSign API (not CRM).

    Can you please look into the following post and see if it helps:

    https://support.docusign.com/en/articles/DocuSign-REST-API-GET-Envelope-Form-Data-Error-This-user-lacks-sufficient-permissions-to-access-this-resource

    If it doesn't help, please share a screenshot of your configuration.

    Thanks for your response, i tried but the resolution in the post did not work.

    Let me know which configuration screenshot do you need to see.

    Hi,

    Please see the following note:

    "If you have a DocuSign account, you must enable the Account-Wide Rights and Send On Behalf Of Rights (API) features for your account."

    If still doesn't help, one thing for sure, the error is thrown by DocuSign API.

    Please telly your configuration as per following DocuSign Quick Start guide (specifically Manage User Access to DocuSign section on page 12) :
