Hi everybody,
is there a way to lock the author mode with a password, when starting the GUIDES app on the Hololens?
I do not want everybody doing trainings, to be able to change my prepared guides. I already checked to the settings in GUIDES PC and hololens app, the "power platform admin center", the FAQ and threads of this forum, but I can not find a solution.

At the moment, this is not possible with Guides. However we are working on a feature for publishing guides in an upcoming release that will enable you to work on a guide and then publish it for consumption. We are also working on the ability to assign Author and Operator roles for users, so that only those who are creating/editing guides have permissions to do so.

thank you for your fast feedback. Then we will wait for the updates to be available.
@alfere2, Since the january '20 release, you can assign a Operate role (readonly) to a specific user, this will hide the Author/Operator selection menu.
This is not high security but good enough to prevent user to enter inadvertently in Author mode.
