    Hi Vaibhav,

Can you tell me what app are you using? And where is the Policy Update Date field? User entity or other?

Can you provide screenshot about it if possible?

    Regards,

    Leah Ju

Am using Power Apps portal where in profile page i have added 2 fields:

    1) Policy Date 2) accept Policy checkbox.  both fields I have created in Contacts.

Also i have created Custom Entity called User Setting where created 1 field = "New Policy Date"

Now am trying to write a plugin code.

When we update User Setting entity "New Policy Date" field then will fetch all contacts and will assign all CRM contact Policy Date = "New Policy Date"   and "accept Policy" checkbox to false.

So that once date update user must have to go to Portal Profile page and accept Policy checkbox.

Please guide me how to write plugin here on update on User Setting entity.

    Hi Vaibhav,

You can use following link to know how to use plugin to update records:

Plugin - Part 6 | Demo of Post Operation in Plugin | Update Message | Use Image | Dynamics CRM - YouTube

If you don't necessarily want to use a plugin to update the fields, you might want to try using power automate to create a flow to achieve it, which is much easier and faster than a plugin.

    Here are steps:

1.Go Power Automate(https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/ ) to create an automated flow.

    2.Set trigger.

3.Add ‘List records’ actions to retrieve all contacts.

3.Add 'Update a record' action to update fields.

The following is overview of the flow('Apply to each' action will be added automatically after adding 'update a record' action).
