I am currently trying to allow users to post under the activities tab for orders and quotes, but when I go to activate the post configuration I get the error code 0x80040203. Is there some way to get around this or is it not feasible to add the post feature? Thanks!

Verify that the activity feed is enabled: In order to use the post feature in Dynamics 365 Sales, you must have the activity feed enabled.

Check your security roles: Make sure that the user or users who are experiencing the error have the appropriate security roles to access and use the post feature.

Verify that the entity is enabled for activity feeds: The entity for which you are trying to enable the post feature must be enabled for activity feeds. the entity in question.
