Production order Double "Report as finished" Double Release

Hello,

we have an Issue, cause a production order is two times "Report as finished", which happens from to time, cause "end Job" was not activated at the first time.

I Took a look in the log, and there is two times release of this order too?

Is there a Parameter or sth, which causes this or was there a Change in CU9? According to release notes of CU9 i do not find anything.

    Hi Albrecht,

    During the lifecycle of a production order it is possible to reset the status, which could explain the double release. This double releasing is noot related to posting the report as finished twice. I do think the user did make a mistake here.

    Hi André thanks for Reply, in fact the second time Report as finished causes a second release without user interaction, did you have same Issue?

    It can only create the second release when the status was reset. What stages are you allowing to skip according to the production parameters setup?

    Hi André, in fact we allow that, but the Status was not reset with the function on production order, it seems that at the second Report as finished, it is automatically reseting Status and posting release. because according to log we have 2 post of release.

    Hi André, i could not reproduce on a contoso enviroment, but i am not sure if it is caused by difference of CU7(Contoso)  on our DEV Enviroment (CU9),

    There can be indeed some differences, but I'm not aware of every code change. I haven't seen this behavior before, so was curious if it can be reproduced.

    I did a quick check on LCS issue search and found a possible related item: "KB 2953297 - Started quantity on a production order doubles when time and attendance is calculated, approved, and transferred"

    Could this be your issue? There is a hotfix for AX 2012 R3 on CU9 for this issue.
