Cubes - Matter of weeks

Hi everybody,

I hope my question was not already asked (I searched and don't find answers...).

We are a group of companies located all over the world.

We are using a couple of cubes and I was wondering if it was possible que have a different calculation of week num when we are in some arabic countries for example..

Indeed, the week number is calculated based on the fact the week start on Monday. But in some countries, weeks are starting on Sunday.

Is that possible to have such a personnalization ?

I fond this post but it seems to be quite complicated to set it up. I am currently trying... docs.microsoft.com/.../how-to-create-a-date-dimension-for-a-cube

I created a second Date Dimensions ending in 2029 for which Year Start is January and First day of week is Sunday

Then I updated Analysis Project adding the new calendar for data dimension and follow the end of what is describe with the procedure.

Then I don't see in EXCEL how to use the new date dimension
