Convert Contact into a Lead

Hi

I have a business case where I got an email from potential customer.

I used Viva sales to fetch contact info from the email and saved it as a contact on Sales Hub.

After few iteration of email back and forth I would like to create out of the contact a Lead.

How should I do it.

Thanks,

    Hi,

You could use a third party app like Zap Copy Record... which could convert the Contact in to Lead in 1-Click.

RE: Convert Contact into a Lead

    Hi,

Regarding your question about converting contacts to leads this is not supported.

After testing by our team, we have come up with the following possible solution.

The first step is to automatically create leads based on emails.

Second step, connect contacts to leads (since you have already created contacts, just connect contacts to leads)

For the first step, you can refer to the solution in the link below. But you still have to pay attention to the incoming and mailbox settings in the incoming queue and to the fact that if you use this method a lead will be created for all your MailBox history messages.

For the second step, you can refer to the solution in the link below. Creating a contact from a lead is easy, connecting a lead to an existing contact is very difficult.

In addition, there are other users here who have asked similar questions to yours, you can refer to the solution in the link.

I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,

    Hello,

I would say the no-code way would be to use Power Automate Flow as the less-efforts way unless you have something special to be brought to that new contact.
