Is customization of EFT.dll required in order for a custom payment connector to store the masked card number in the CardOrAccount field in the POS database?

Hi,

I worked with our AX partner to develop a custom payment connector to integrate with some new 3rd party devices. Everything works well, except the CardOrAccount field in the POS database is not being populated. (Our accounting department needs the masked card number put in this field.)

Details:

Dynamics AX 2012 R2 CU6

Retail POS with no existing customizations of EFT.dll

Payment gateway: CardConnect Bolt/CardPointe

The operator clicks "OK" on the card payment form and the payment connector takes it from there. The "Last4Digits" field is being populated in the Response properties.

Any thoughts or suggestions on this would be appreciated. Before we work on customizing the EFT.dll to make it work the way we need it to I would like to confirm that this is expected behavior and a customization is required.

Yes, a customization is required. Did you try using the sample payment connector that comes with AX ?
