I am developing a word template, is there any way I can filter the data based on the attribute value ?
Like,
Contacts,
Name Age Gender
ABC 21 Male
XYZ 25 Female
PQR 22 Female
LMN 55 Male
How can I extract only female contacts in my word template ? or aleast sort as per the gender ?
Hi partner,
Unfortunately, there is no OOTB way to filter data or sort as per the gender, Word Templates is still not available for data customization.
You could try this solution www.crmsoftwareblog.com/.../
If you would filter or sort data, I would recommend you use Report Wizard or SSRS.
Report Wizard information:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/basics/basics-guide
https://crmbook.powerobjects.com/crm-book-basics/analytics/microsoft-dynamics-crm-report-wizard/
SSRS information:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/report-builder/hide-an-item-report-builder-and-ssrs?view=sql-server-ver15
For Report Wizard, we can filter data here.
And sort data here.
For SSRS, we can filter data here.
Finally, for Report Wizard and SSRS, it can be downloaded as word.
